Dude, We're 30s. Are We Gonna Do This Shit or Not? 'Cause I've Got Something Else to Do..

Well, that's basically a saying to us, the "still single" 30s. Dating at this age is somewhat painful. We have to deal with many things and begin to wonder, "Man, do I really have a space for a drama?" Oh yeah, we get it that being single at this age is somewhat not fun at all. There are family members that keep asking about our status, there are married friends who insist to match us with their friends, not to mention when we have to attend to our friends' or our juniors' wedding, 1st and then 2nd child birthday parties.. Man, that's a lot.

That gets me to wonder, what are we looking for when we are dating?

Friend
I've got so many friends right now. So, you have to be special enough to earn a new space in my life.

Boyfriend/Girlfriend
What are we? Teenage?

Sex
Well, don't mind the sex but.. well, we don't have to be in dating if you want to have sex.

Partner
Maybe, but yeah I think this one is what we've been looking for.

So, define Partner!
Partner is someone you can trust, with all of your problems, joy, money, and even for all of your drama.
Partner is someone equal to you. You can share, he/she can share without afraid to be judged.
Partner is someone you can talk to about some things that you feel weird it you share them to your friends.
Partner is someone that off course has his/her own baggages, but knows how and when to share them with you.
Partner is someone real. Real enough that you don't have to imagine is you share your future with him/her. You just know that you can share all of your life, now and then.

Where to find partner? I don't have that answer until now. But at the end of the day, we just have to make sure we do know what to look for when we are dating.
Well, if it's not real enough, just ask yourself and your date again: Are we gonna do this shit or not? 'Cause I've got something else to do!!
